Mumbai, July 10: In a recent episode of the reality show ‘Lock Up’ Season 2, contestant Shreya Kalra revealed that actress and fellow contestant Shivangi Joshi once read her entire chat with actor Kushal Tandon. This incident occurred when Kushal had messaged her while he was reportedly dating Shivangi.
During a conversation with fellow contestant and actress Shilpa Shinde, Shreya recounted the event. She mentioned that while shooting a promotional video for Shivangi’s TV show, Kushal reached out to her on social media.
Shreya stated, “After the shoot, he messaged me. At that time, I was dating someone. There was something going on between Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi, but I was unaware of it.”
She further alleged that Kushal continued to message her, but since she was in a committed relationship, she decided not to pursue the conversation, feeling that something was off.
Recalling her encounter with Shivangi, Shreya said, “We met on set, and she said, ‘Oh hi! Yes! He told me about you following him and messaging him.’ I replied, ‘Excuse me! I won’t be the first person to contact a guy. I have never done that in my life.’”
To clear any misunderstandings, Shreya handed her phone to Shivangi so she could read their entire chat. “I didn’t flirt or say anything inappropriate,” she added.
When Shilpa Shinde inquired if Shivangi had cried after reading the messages, Shreya responded, “She cried on set after the shoot. Three to five months later, that guy posted a story revealing that they had broken up.”
Shreya also mentioned that during their time together on ‘Lock Up 2’, she brought up Shivangi’s past relationship to understand what went wrong between the couple. However, Shivangi chose not to discuss the matter further and changed the subject.
For those unaware, reports of Kushal Tandon and Shivangi Joshi dating emerged while they worked together on the TV show ‘Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka’. Neither has publicly confirmed their relationship, but sources suggest they were deeply in love. Currently, Kushal is a contestant in the ‘Alliance’ house, while Shivangi is participating in ‘Lock Up 2’.
