Mumbai, July 10: A significant opportunity has emerged for youth aspiring to work in the judiciary. The Guwahati High Court has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 35 Stenographer Grade-II positions.
The online application process for the recruitment commenced on July 10 at 12 PM, with the last date for applications set for July 30. Candidates interested in applying for the Stenographer posts can submit their registration forms on the official website of the Guwahati High Court by 5 PM on the final date. The deadline for payment of the application fee is August 5.
Applicants must possess a graduation degree from a recognized institution or university. Additionally, candidates should have a diploma or certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from an IT/Polytechnic or any other recognized university. Those currently pursuing Stenography/Shorthand can also apply, but they must submit their pass/completion certificate/diploma during document verification at the High Court unless otherwise decided. Furthermore, candidates should have a good knowledge of the official language of Assam (Assamese).
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 40 years, calculated based on the last date of application. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a Stenography test, written examination, and oral interview, with selected candidates receiving a salary ranging from ₹22,000 to ₹97,000 per month, along with additional benefits and allowances.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹500 for unreserved/OBC/MOBC candidates and ₹250 for ST(P)/ST(H) candidates. Candidates from the PWD category are exempt from the registration fee.
