
Banda, July 9: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be on a one-day visit to Banda district in Bundelkhand on Thursday. During this visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for 229 development projects worth over ₹710 crores in the Sadar and Baberu assembly constituencies. The Chief Minister will also address a public gathering.
Sharing details of the program on his social media account, Adityanath stated that the journey of public welfare and development will receive new energy from Banda, a land known for its hard work, valor, and progress. He highlighted that the inauguration and foundation stone laying of development projects worth over ₹710 crores will take place in the Banda and Baberu assembly areas.
Additionally, during the event, beneficiaries of various welfare schemes will receive appointment letters, approval letters, checks, Ayushman cards, Chief Minister cashless medical cards, keys to houses under the Prime Minister and Chief Minister housing schemes, and toolkits for self-employment.
He emphasized that with strong infrastructure, empowered citizens, and a commitment to uplift the underprivileged, Bundelkhand is continuously reaching new heights of development.
In both Sadar and Baberu assembly constituencies, the Chief Minister will dedicate roads, bridges, and other development projects to the public. In the Sadar constituency, he will inaugurate 45 completed development works worth ₹171.10 crores, which include significant projects like road and bridge widening. Furthermore, he will lay the foundation for 85 new development works costing ₹425.52 crores.
In the Baberu constituency, 64 projects worth ₹62.54 crores will be inaugurated, along with the foundation stone laying for 80 development works costing ₹47.85 crores. Through these 229 projects, the region’s development will gain new momentum.
In preparation for the Chief Minister’s arrival, the district and police administration have made extensive security arrangements. Administrative officials will be deployed at the event site, with special vigilance on traffic and security measures.
