New Delhi, July 6: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi has announced the results of its recruitment process for more than 460 faculty positions, ranging from Assistant Professor to Professor, across over 50 subjects. This announcement was made on Sunday for vacancies at both the AIIMS New Delhi campus and the AIIMS-CAPFIMS (Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences) campus in Maidan Garhi.
More than 3,200 candidates applied for 265 positions at AIIMS New Delhi and 199 positions at AIIMS-CAPFIMS. To maintain confidentiality and transparency throughout the six-month recruitment process, blockchain digital technology was employed. The integrity of the process was ensured by digitally locking the marks using a one-time password (OTP).
The software utilized these marks along with a pre-defined algorithm to prepare the final merit list, eliminating any human intervention in resolving tie situations. This approach also facilitated the timely announcement of the final results.
As one of the largest recruitment drives in recent times, this initiative will enhance faculty availability, thereby improving patient care, teaching, and research at both AIIMS and AIIMS-CAPFIMS.
