
Ajmer, May 28 (Udaipur Kiran) – A horrifying incident surfaced on Thursday morning from the Borada police station area of Ajmer, where four members of a family, including a Congress leader, were burnt alive inside a Scorpio vehicle parked on the roadside. The recovery of four charred bodies from the vehicle created panic and fear in the area. Police have started an investigation and are probing all possible angles, including suspicion of murder.
The deceased were identified as Congress leader Ramsingh Choudhary, his wife Surgyan, mother Pusi Devi and his wife’s niece. After receiving information about the incident, Borada police rushed to the spot, where a large number of villagers had already gathered.
Police said Ramsingh Choudhary was the former Sarpanch of Borada village. His mother Pusi Devi had also served as Sarpanch of Kasir Gram Panchayat, while his wife Surgyan was a former Congress district council member.
Ajmer SP Harshvardhan Agrawala reached the spot along with FSL, MOB team and senior police officials to inspect the scene.
According to SP Harshvardhan Agrawala, preliminary investigation revealed that Ramsingh Choudhary was taking his ailing mother to hospital when the Scorpio suddenly caught fire. Police are investigating whether the fire broke out due to a technical fault or if there was any other reason behind the incident.
