Udaipur, May 27 (Udaipur Kiran) – A departmental review meeting was held at the District Council auditorium regarding effective implementation of the Kali Bai Bheel Udaan Scheme. The meeting was chaired by Chief Executive Officer Virmaram.
During the meeting, officials reviewed the supply and distribution of free sanitary napkins for women and girls, beneficiary registration on the e-Aushadhi and RajSIMS portals, compliance with SOP guidelines, and menstrual hygiene awareness programmes.
Officials of concerned departments were directed to work in coordination to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach all eligible girls and women. Instructions were also given to regularly organise awareness programmes related to menstrual hygiene management and cleanliness in schools and institutions.
Emphasis was laid on maintaining smooth distribution of sanitary napkins and proper maintenance of records. Officials were instructed to carry out regular inspections as per targets fixed under the Udaan Scheme and take immediate action on any issue or complaint.
Deputy Director of the Women Empowerment Department Sanjay Joshi said the objective of the scheme is to increase awareness about menstrual hygiene among girls and women and provide them with necessary facilities.
Officials from various departments including education, child rights, social justice, integrated child development services, Sanskrit education, college education and Rajeevika attended the meeting.
