Oslo, May 20: Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to visit India this year, coinciding with the BRICS Summit 2026 scheduled for September. According to West Asia expert V.L. Awad, this visit is crucial for India, providing a significant boost on the international stage.
Awad emphasized the importance of this trip, particularly in light of the rapidly changing geopolitical landscape, including the Russia-Ukraine conflict and ongoing tensions in West Asia.
