Suryakumar Yadav is over the moon at the moment following the birth of his daughter and decided to share the joy with paparazzi in Mumbai. Suryakumar and his wife, Devisha Shetty, became parents to a baby girl on May 7. The pair, who tied the knot in July 2016, had hosted a baby shower celebration earlier this year in March.

Suryakumar was spotted at the Mumbai airport in a viral video, where he spent some time with the reporters. Before entering the airport, the India T20I captain took out a box of sweets for the reporters and handed it to them.

“Yeh lo, aap log khaana yeh. (Have this. You guys please eat it.)” said Suryakumar to the reporters.

WILL SURYAKUMAR PLAY AGAINST RCB?

Suryakumar stayed back in Mumbai as the MI squad went to Raipur for their must-win clash against RCB. There were doubts if he would make it in time for the game.

The MI manager revealed that Suryakumar would be flying into the city on the day of the game. Mumbai are also watching closely Hardik Pandya’s fitness for the contest as he missed the win over LSG due to back spasms.

“Hardik continues to be evaluated by the medical team, and they will update us on his progress,” a Mumbai Indians spokesperson said ahead of the RCB match. “Surya is coming in tomorrow.”

Suryakumar hasn’t been in the best of form during this season, scoring just 195 runs from 10 matches. However, the last few games have seen the India T20I captain show some kind of form with the bat as MI enter the match needing a win.

MI have six points and need to win all their games to reach the 14-point mark, which still may not be enough for qualification.
