
Mumbai, May 7: Actor Ishan Khatter is set to appear in his first comedy-drama film ‘Jugaadu’ following the global success of his previous film ‘Homebound.’ On Wednesday, Ishan shared a significant update about the upcoming movie.
He posted a picture on Instagram with a clapperboard, providing a shooting update. In his post, he wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for Jugaadu! This is my first film where I will be seen doing comedy. Together with a fantastic and passionate team, we are bringing you a blockbuster entertainer that will hit theaters soon.”
Fans have responded positively to the actor’s post, and several stars from the entertainment industry congratulated him in the comments section. Director Zoya Akhtar wrote “Congratulations,” while Vishal Jethwa expressed his excitement for the project. Actress Tisca Chopra reacted with a heart emoji, and Mohit Malik also congratulated him.
The film is directed by Palash Vaswani, known for his impressive projects ‘Gullak’ and ‘Bada Naam Karenge.’ The film’s muhurat ceremony took place on April 30 in Mumbai, and the main shooting schedule is expected to begin later this month in Punjab.
In ‘Jugaadu,’ Ishan Khatter will star alongside Punjabi actress Tania, who will be making her Bollywood debut with this film. The cast also includes Abhishek Banerjee, Jameel Khan, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Yamini Das, Sukhwinder Chahal, and Nirmal Rishi in significant roles.
