Udaipur, March 20, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): Geetanjali Dental and Research Institute organised an oral health awareness programme and free dental check-up camp at BN College of Pharmacy on the occasion of World Oral Health Day.
The initiative aimed to spread awareness about dental and gum hygiene among university students. The 2026 theme, “Healthy Mouth, Healthy Mind,” highlights the connection between oral health and overall mental well-being, emphasising that a healthy smile is essential for both physical and emotional health.
During the programme, students were educated about proper dental care, correct brushing techniques and prevention of oral diseases. Expert dentists conducted free dental check-ups and provided necessary consultations.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Balaji Manohar. Addressing the students, Dr. Mridula Tak stressed the importance of regular dental check-ups and hygiene, encouraging students to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Dean Dr. Yuvraj Singh, Principal Dr. Pushpendra Singh Naruka, programme coordinator Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, along with Alok Bhargava, Dr. Tarun Mali and other dental professionals were present.
Experts also discussed five key aspects of oral health—brushing, flossing, nutritious diet, regular dental visits and good habits. They emphasised that consistent practice of these habits helps prevent dental problems, boosts confidence and improves overall quality of life.
