Udaipur, March 14 (Udaipur Kiran): Students of the Yoga Department of Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research (PAHER) University visited AyurNaturo Hospital and Research Centre in Debari as part of an educational tour.

The objective of the visit was to provide students with practical knowledge about traditional Indian systems of medicine and to help them understand the relationship between yoga, Ayurveda and naturopathy. During the visit, students, along with faculty member Dr. Shubha Surana and guest faculty Rajesh Tank, observed various treatment methods at the hospital and interacted with expert doctors.

At the hospital, doctors and specialists introduced the students to the basic principles of Ayurveda. They explained that according to Ayurveda, the human body is governed by three main doshas—Vata, Pitta and Kapha. When these remain balanced, a person stays healthy, but imbalance in these doshas can lead to various diseases.

Students were also shown the naturopathy department during the tour. Experts explained that naturopathy is based on the five elements of nature—earth, water, fire, air and space. With the help of these elements, efforts are made to restore the body’s natural health. Treatments such as mud therapy, hydrotherapy, sun baths, balanced diet and yoga practices are considered key methods in naturopathy.

Head of the Yoga Department Dr. Jaswant Menaria said that such educational visits are very important for the overall development of students. He said these tours help students understand and observe the concepts taught in classrooms in real-life settings. They also encourage respect and interest in traditional Indian knowledge systems.

Hospital authorities also described the visit as a positive initiative and said that it is important for the younger generation to gain knowledge about ancient Indian systems like Ayurveda and naturopathy. According to them, this not only improves awareness about health but also inspires people to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

The educational visit by the yoga students of PAHER University proved to be informative and inspiring. The students expressed their commitment to use the knowledge and experiences gained during the visit in their future studies and lives.
