Udaipur, February 13 (Udaipur Kiran): The 42nd Annual Award Ceremony of the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation will be held to honour 70 meritorious students for their outstanding achievements in academic, co-curricular and sports fields.
According to Dr Mayank Gupta, Convenor of the ceremony, the selected students will be felicitated on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 4:30 pm at the City Palace premises in Udaipur. The awards will be presented by Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Chairman and Managing Trustee of the Foundation. Each student will receive Rs 21,000, a citation and a medal.
Under the Academic Bhamashah Award for 2024-25, 18 undergraduate students at the Rajasthan level will be honoured. Established in 1983-84, the Bhamashah Award is dedicated to the inspiring loyalty of Bhamashah and is presented annually to students securing the highest marks in undergraduate examinations across universities in Rajasthan.
The awardees for 2024-25 include: Kanak Maheshwari (BA 82.73), Poonam Dangi (B.Ed. 87.00), Heena Suthar (BA-B.Ed. 86.05), Lakshita Jain (B.Sc.-B.Ed. 89.70), Pranjal Pagariya (BA LL.B. 88.90), Tishya Paliwal (B.Sc. 79.52), Charu Purohit (B.Sc. Yoga 82.46), Anil Singh Shekhawat (Fisheries Science 80.00), Samriddhi Maheshwari (B.Sc. Agriculture 86.79), Khushnuma B. Pinjara (BCA 84.85), Tanisha Jain (Bachelor of Fashion Technology 90.00), Ankit Kumawat (B.Tech Dairy Technology 81.50), Rajvardhan Singh Sarangdevot (Agricultural Engineering 85.20), Komal Gupta (B.Tech 90.00), Diya Mundra (B.Pharma 88.90), Aryan Sharma (Bachelor of Architecture 95.60), Dr Fiza Khanam (MBBS 79.64) and Dr Charvi Bansal (BDS 81.30).
The Maharana Raj Singh Award, established in 1980-81, will be presented to 21 students studying in colleges within Udaipur Municipal Council limits and affiliated colleges of universities in Udaipur for achievements in sports and co-curricular activities. Awardees include Ganga Thapa and Zoya Khan (Judo); Vinay Rajsingh Sarangdevot, Dhansingh Baghel, Divij Solanki and Bhavesh Chaudhary (Kick Boxing); Pranjal Menaria (Boxing); Bhagwati Gameti (Cricket); Anindita Shakya, Divyanshi Sisodiya, Priyansh Sharma, Bhoomi Soni, Bhargavi Paliwal, Drishti Gaur, Yuvraj Singh Chundawat, Avishi Paliwal, Kanwarpal Singh Chauhan, Hridayansh Pratap Singh Rathore, Sher Singh and Lakshraj Singh Rathore (for representing NCC Directorate at the Annual National Cadet Corps Republic Day Camp in New Delhi); and Rover Vishal Gupta (Scout and Guide).
Under the Maharana Fateh Singh Award, also established in 1980-81, 31 students will be honoured for excellence in academics, co-curricular and sports activities for 2024-25.
For CBSE Class 12 examinations: Mayank Gupta (Science 97.20%), Mehul Rajpal (Science 96.40%), Jai Asvani (Commerce 99.20%), Muskan Bangad (Commerce 99%), Jahnavi Sharma (Arts 99.20%), Swastika Sharma (Arts 98.80%). In the Secondary examination: Divyansh Vyas (98.80%) and Maulik Pagariya (98.60%).
For Rajasthan Board Class 12 examinations: Aditi Jain (Science 98.40%), Divyansh Nagda (Science 95.80%), Jahnavi Sevak (Commerce 95.60%), Bhoomika Rajput (Commerce 95%), Mitashi Kumawat (Arts 97.20%), Shifa Farzana (97%), Bhakti Rajani (97%), Mahendra Singh Balla (Agriculture 94.80%). In the Secondary examination: Khushi Vaishnav (97.33%) and Varsha Jangid (97.33%).
For sports and other activities: Jigyasa Patel, Vibhuti Mod, Priya Vardhan Singh Tanwar and Daksh Raj Singh (Boxing); Yug Chelani and Sirjan Singh Deol (Swimming); Mansvi Sukhwal, Manas Sukhwal and Saksham Kumawat (Kayaking and Canoeing); Yashasvi Sankhla and Bhavya Singh Bhadauria (NCC); Fatima Kankroliwala (Science and Technology); and Rudraksh Mathur (Drama and Writing).
