As Namibia gears up to face the tournament co-hosts and the defending champions, India, in their group-stage clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, the Namibian captain Gerhard Erasmus has brought to the spotlight a big revelation which might be giving India an unfair advantage.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Erasmus highlighted how his team have not been given a single night training session while India has been given two training sessions under the floodlights.
“We haven’t had a night training session before this game — I’m not sure why. I believe India has had two night sessions. You can make of that what you want,” Erasmus said.
