Emotional Farewell Ceremony at MDS School Leaves Students Inspired | Udaipur Kiran


UDAIPUR, February 2 (Udaipur Kiran): A grand, dignified and emotionally charged farewell ceremony was organised on Sunday at MDS School to honour the Class 12 students. The well-organised programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers and parents, creating a vibrant and memorable atmosphere.

The ceremony began with a Ganesh Vandana presented by Kimaya Somani, which filled the venue with spiritual energy. This was followed by a series of colourful cultural performances by Class 11 students. Dance presentations by Minal and group, Falak and group, and the Classy Mob impressed the audience, while performances such as Diva Departure Bash, Oye Oye Oye Baka Group, Desi Groups, and Fire and Flow infused the event with high energy and excitement. A Rajasthani folk dance performance beautifully showcased the region’s cultural heritage.

A three-stage title round held during the programme provided students an opportunity to display their confidence, personality and talent. A surprise segment presented by the Commerce faculty also emerged as a special attraction. One of the most awaited moments of the evening was the selection of Mr and Miss Farewell, which was conducted with great enthusiasm and grace.

A heartfelt speech by student Macy Gaur left the audience emotional, while a special song and address by Kamal Sir inspired students and filled them with positive energy. Addressing the gathering, chief guest Sunil Vishnoi advised students to always be prepared for life’s challenges and competitions. He described discipline, hard work, self-confidence and positive thinking as the keys to success.

School trustees R.C. Somani and Pushpa Somani said that education is not limited to passing examinations but is a means to give direction to life. They encouraged students to move forward with honesty, values and consistent effort, wishing them a bright future.

School Director Dr Shailendra Somani motivated students to prepare seriously not only for the Class 12 board examinations but also for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, CA and CS. He said the aim of MDS School is to develop students academically, morally and practically, and wished them excellent results.

At the conclusion of the programme, Class 12 students shared fond memories of their school life and expressed gratitude to their teachers, principal and director. Filled with emotions, memories and good wishes, the farewell ceremony concluded as an unforgettable experience for everyone present.
