Udaipur Bar Association ‘A’ Lifts JSR State-Level Advocate Cricket Premier League Title | Udaipur Kiran

UDAIPUR, January 27, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The JSR State-Level Advocate Cricket Premier League concluded with a thrilling final at the Field Club ground, where Udaipur Bar Association ‘A’ team defeated Jodhpur High Court Advocates by five runs to clinch the title. Jodhpur High Court finished as runners-up after a closely fought contest.

According to Bar Association General Secretary Lokesh Gurjar, the final was played on Sunday afternoon between Udaipur Bar Association ‘A’ and Jodhpur Bar Association.

Winning the toss, Udaipur opted to bat first and got off to a strong start. Openers Chetan Choudhary and Chetan Nagda put together a rapid partnership of 112 runs in 12.3 overs. Nagda was dismissed after scoring an impressive 67 runs, while Choudhary followed soon after with 42 runs. Udaipur ‘A’ was eventually bowled out for 147 runs in 19 overs, with Devendra Singh Jhala contributing 11 runs.

Chasing a target of 148, the Jodhpur team started positively, striking boundaries and keeping the required run rate under control. At one stage, they were 60 for 2 in eight overs, appearing to have the upper hand. However, disciplined bowling from Chetan Choudhary and tight spells from the Udaipur bowlers slowed the scoring. Despite reaching 113 for 6 in 14 overs, Jodhpur struggled to maintain momentum.

With 12 runs needed off the last six balls, Jodhpur’s batters attempted a late surge, but crucial wickets fell at both ends. Bowlers Chetandas Vaishnav and Yudhraj picked up key dismissals, bowling Jodhpur out for 142 runs and sealing a memorable five-run victory for Udaipur.

Chetan Choudhary was named Man of the Match and Man of the Series for his all-round performance, scoring 42 runs off 30 balls and taking five wickets in the final. Chetan Nagda received the award for highest run-scorer, while the Best Fielder award went to a player from the Jaipur team.
