MDS Public School, Udaipur Celebrates 77th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervour | Udaipur Kiran


UDAIPUR, January 27, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, dignity, and patriotic spirit at MDS Public School, Udaipur. The school campus resonated with national pride as the programme began with the hoisting of the national flag followed by the singing of the national anthem, filling the atmosphere with a sense of honour and unity.

The event was graced by the presence of school trustees Rameshchandra Somani and Pushpa Somani, Director Shailendra Somani, and Vice-Principal Jaymala Verma.

The chief guest for the occasion was Ravikant Tripathi, a noted social worker and dedicated volunteer of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He has actively served in organisations such as the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and Bajrang Dal, and is currently the Convener of Hindu Jagran Manch, Chittorgarh Province. Being a law graduate, he also guides society on social and legal matters.

The programme’s special guest was Manoj Joshi, President of Laghu Udyog Bharati, who is actively involved in promoting small-scale and indigenous industries at the Udaipur and Rajasthan levels.

Another distinguished guest was internationally renowned shooter Gajendra Singh Ranawat, an eight-time national champion and a world record holder listed in the Khalish Book of World Records. As Director of The Legend Shooting Range, he is training young shooters and nurturing future national-level athletes.

In his inspiring address, chief guest Ravikant Tripathi said that the Constitution of India is not merely a document but the soul of the country’s democracy. He urged students to understand their duties along with their rights and to adopt honesty, discipline, and patriotism as guiding principles in life. Emphasising the role of youth, he said that a conscious, cultured, and nation-oriented young generation is the true strength of India.

Students of MDS Public School presented a vibrant cultural programme featuring patriotic songs, graceful dances, physical drill displays, powerful speeches, and a thought-provoking skit. Through these performances, they effectively highlighted the core constitutional values of unity, equality, justice, and brotherhood.

Director Shailendra Somani encouraged students to follow constitutional ideals, uphold moral values, and become responsible and duty-bound citizens. Vice-Principal Jaymala Verma, in her address, described discipline, integrity, and national service as the guiding mantras of life.
