UDAIPUR, January 25, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The JSR State-Level Advocate Cricket Premier League reached an exciting stage on Saturday as four quarter-final matches were played at the BN College and MB College cricket grounds in Udaipur. The winning teams have now advanced to the semi-finals, which will be held on Sunday at the Field Club. The tournament will conclude with the final match and closing ceremony on January 26 at the same venue.
The four-day state-level tournament is being jointly organised by the Bar Association Udaipur and the JSR State-Level Advocate Cricket Premier League. On the second day of the competition, eight teams competed in four quarter-final matches across the two grounds, drawing enthusiastic response from city residents and cricket lovers.
Bar Association President Jitendra Jain said that the first quarter-final at the BN College ground was played between CAT Bar Jodhpur and Bhilwara Bar Association. Batting first, CAT Bar Jodhpur scored 175 runs for the loss of wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Bhilwara Bar Association chased the target in just 17.2 overs, losing four wickets. Samir Lodhi was declared Man of the Match as Bhilwara secured a place in the semi-finals.
The second quarter-final at the BN College ground was played between Udaipur A and Sri Ganganagar Bar Association. After winning the toss, Udaipur A opted to bat and posted a massive total of 253 runs for the loss of three wickets. Chetan Chaudhary scored a century, while Gaurav Chaudhary added 58 runs and Manish Sharma contributed 35. Chasing a target of 254, Sri Ganganagar was bowled out for 118, giving Udaipur A a convincing 135-run victory. Chetan Das took five wickets for Udaipur A.
General Secretary Lokesh Gurjar informed that at the MB-A ground, Jaipur Bar Association faced Jodhpur Bar Association. Jaipur, after winning the toss, elected to bat first and scored 201 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs, with Ajit Singh entertaining the crowd with a series of towering sixes. In response, the Rajasthan High Court Lawyers’ team was bowled out for 100 runs. Samir Khan of Jaipur was named Man of the Match, and Jaipur advanced to the semi-finals.
In another match at the same ground, Udaipur Bar Association B team faced Jodhpur High Court Bar Association. Udaipur B, batting first, was all out for 75 runs, with Surendra Singh top-scoring with 17 runs. Chasing the target, Jodhpur did not have a strong start, losing Zakir for a duck on the first ball to Udaipur’s Chirag. However, Jodhpur recovered and chased down the target with the loss of just one wicket, winning by nine wickets. Advocate Vishnu from Jodhpur High Court Bar Association was declared Man of the Match.
Semi-Finals at Field Club on Sunday
Media In-charge Harish Paliwal said that the first semi-final on Sunday will be played between Jaipur Bar Association and Bhilwara Bar Association. The second semi-final will feature Udaipur A against the Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur team.
Office bearers including Vice President Mahendra Menaria, Secretary Ashish Kumari Kothari, Finance Secretary Dharmendra Soni, Library Secretary Vinod Audichya, along with executive members and committee representatives, were present at both grounds and actively supported the smooth conduct of the matches.
