UDAIPUR, January 24, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): A free health check-up camp for Uric Acid, Blood Pressure (BP), and Diabetes was organised at Gurudwara Sach Khand Darbar, Sikh Colony, under the initiative of the Udaipur Sikh Samaj Seva Samiti.
Sharing details, committee president Ravindra Pal Singh Kappu said that the camp was held from 7:00 am to 9:30 am, during which people actively participated despite the severe cold. A total of 143 individuals benefited from the free medical screening.
During the camp, 122 people were screened for diabetes and blood pressure, while 21 people underwent free uric acid tests. Medical assessment revealed that 14 individuals had high diabetes levels and were advised to go for regular morning and evening walks and avoid sweets, carrot halwa, and moong dal halwa during the winter season.
Similarly, 12 people were informed that excessive stress and high salt intake can lead to increased blood pressure. In addition, around 10 individuals were found to have uric acid levels above normal and were advised to consume more green vegetables.
Ravindra Pal Singh Kappu stated that such health camps aim to create awareness about lifestyle-related diseases and encourage early detection for better health management.
