Dense Fog Causes Train Cancellations and Delays in North India


Dense fog in North India is disrupting train services across several states. Due to heavy fog, the speed of many trains has been affected, leading to cancellations and significant delays.

On Saturday, two trains, the Sialdah-Ajmer Superfast Express and the Ajmer-Amritsar Express, were cancelled. Trains arriving at or departing from Jaipur from states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Mumbai, Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab are running late by 5 to 6 hours. Overall, more than nine trains have been impacted by these delays.

Among the delayed trains are the Prayagraj-Lalgarh Superfast Express and the Ranikhet Express (Kathgodam-Jaisalmer), both running substantially behind schedule.

Train number 12413 Garib Dham Pooja Express (Ajmer-Jammutavi) is delayed by about 1 hour.

Train number 15014 Ranikhet Express (Kathgodam-Jaisalmer) is delayed by 5 hours 5 minutes.

Train number 14863 Marudhar Express (Varanasi-Jodhpur) is delayed by 3 hours 21 minutes.

Train number 20403 Prayagraj-Lalgarh Superfast Express is late by 6 hours 15 minutes.

Train number 14311 Ala Hazrat Express (Bareilly-Bhuj) is delayed by approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Train number 14662 Shalimar Malani (Jammutavi-Badmer) is running 2 hours 30 minutes late.

Train number 15715 Gareeb Nawaz Express (Kishanganj-Ajmer) is delayed by 1 hour 51 minutes.

Train number 09626 Daund-Ajmer Superfast Special is late by 2 hours 10 minutes.

Train number 09002 Bhiwani-Mumbai Central is running 2 hours 15 minutes behind schedule.

Passengers are advised to check the latest train status before planning their travel due to ongoing disruptions caused by fog.
