Adityaraj Singh Chauhan, a national rifle shooter from Mewar Rifle Shooting Club, Gunzol, Nathdwara Rajsamand, has qualified for the national championship in the 50-meter prone position rifle shooting category. The achievement came during the 68th National Rifle Shooting Championship held at the Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy in Bhopal.

Adityaraj secured his national qualification in the senior men’s category of the 50-meter .22 caliber rifle prone position event on his very first attempt. He scored an impressive 594.9 out of 600, demonstrating excellent skill and focus.

His father, Dr. Prithviraj Singh Chauhan, shared that coach Dr. Jitendra Singh Mayda called from Bhopal to congratulate Adityaraj on this accomplishment. For the past year, Adityaraj has been practicing regularly under the guidance of Dr. Jitendra Singh Chundawat at the Mewar Rifle Shooting Club in Gunzol, Nathdwara.

Dr. Jitendra Singh Chundawat, Rajasthan’s team manager and national shooting coach, described Adityaraj as a composed and talented marksman. He noted that Adityaraj has been a proficient player in 10-meter rifle shooting for six years and has won national medals in that discipline. Since last year, Adityaraj has been training for the 50-meter event and has made a remarkable debut with his recent performance.

The coach added that qualifying at the national level helps shooters obtain national-level firearm licenses more easily, enabling them to perform at their best and bring recognition to the country on the global stage.

The Mewar Rifle Shooting Club group extended their blessings and heartfelt congratulations to Adityaraj Singh Chauhan on his outstanding achievement. They wished him continuous progress and success in his career.
