
Jaipur, December 21 (Udaipur Kiran): Chief Secretary V. Srinivas on Sunday visited the Mansarovar Police Station in Jaipur along with Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma and reviewed modern policing practices and digital innovations being implemented at the station.
During the visit, the Chief Secretary took detailed information about various digital systems operational at the police station, including e-FIR, e-evidence, e-summons, and app-based monitoring of cyber crimes and crimes against women. After the inspection, he described Mansarovar Police Station as Rajasthan’s fully digital “model police station” and appreciated its functioning.
The Chief Secretary said that the Mansarovar police station stands as an excellent example of police reforms in the direction of digital transformation. Congratulating the leadership of Rajasthan Police, he noted that the effective use of technology has enhanced transparency, ensured faster service delivery, and strengthened citizen-centric policing.
He congratulated DGP Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal, Inspector General of Police Rahul Prakash, and the Rajasthan Police leadership team for successfully implementing digital police reforms. The Chief Secretary also interacted with officers and personnel and shared a meal with them at the police mess.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Chief Secretary expressed confidence that such innovations would lead to continuous improvement in law and order and enhance the quality of citizen services across the state.
