Gold Prices Surge Across Indian Bullion Markets


New Delhi, 19 December (Udaipur Kiran) – The domestic bullion market witnessed a sharp rise in gold prices today, with gold becoming more expensive by Rs 300 to Rs 330 per 10 grams. Silver prices also experienced a modest increase of Rs 200. Due to this upward trend, 24-carat gold traded between Rs 1,34,850 and Rs 1,35,000 per 10 grams in most major markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was sold at rates ranging from Rs 1,23,610 to Rs 1,23,760 per 10 grams. Silver prices rose to Rs 2,11,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,35,000 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was valued at Rs 1,23,760 per 10 grams. The financial capital Mumbai saw 24-carat gold trading at Rs 1,34,850 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,23,610 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad reported retail prices of Rs 1,34,900 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 1,23,660 for 22-carat gold.

Other key cities also reflected this trend. Chennai’s 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,34,850 per 10 grams and 22-carat at Rs 1,23,610. Kolkata showed similar rates with 24-carat gold at Rs 1,34,850 and 22-carat at Rs 1,23,610 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold stood at Rs 1,34,900 and 22-carat at Rs 1,23,660 per 10 grams.

Lucknow’s bullion market saw 24-carat gold at Rs 1,35,000 and 22-carat at Rs 1,23,760 per 10 grams. Patna recorded prices of Rs 1,34,900 for 24-carat and Rs 1,23,660 for 22-carat gold. Jaipur’s rates matched those of Lucknow, with 24-carat gold at Rs 1,35,000 and 22-carat at Rs 1,23,760 per 10 grams.

States like Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha also reported an increase in gold prices today. In their respective capitals—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold was traded at Rs 1,34,850 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was sold at Rs 1,23,610 per 10 grams.
