Clean Office Drive at Rajasthan Police Headquarters a Success; DGP Sharma Leads by Example | Udaipur Kiran

Jaipur, 17 December (Udaipur Kiran) — Marking the completion of two successful years of the Rajasthan government, the Police Headquarters on Tuesday organised a special clean office campaign, which ran from 10 am to 11 am. The aim of the initiative was to promote a clean, healthy and disciplined work environment.

The highlight of the campaign was the active participation of Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, who picked up a broom and joined officers in cleaning the premises. His gesture inspired officials and staff across the headquarters, who enthusiastically joined the cleanliness drive and cleaned their respective office areas for an hour.

Senior Officers Conduct Multi-Level Inspections

To ensure meaningful outcomes from the campaign, DGP Sharma personally inspected the second floor of the headquarters. He also assigned ADG-level officers to inspect other floors. These inspections, conducted after 3 pm, covered cleanliness, office maintenance and operational efficiency.

The officers deployed for inspection included:

  • Ground & First Floor: ADG Planning, Modernisation & Welfare Dr. Prashakha Mathur

  • Third Floor: DG Law & Order Sanjay Agarwal

  • Fourth Floor: DG Training & Traffic Anil Paliwal

  • Fifth Floor: ADG Vigilance S. Sengathir

  • Sixth Floor: ADG Intelligence Prafulla Kumar

  • Seventh Floor: ADG Police Housing Bhupendra Sahu

Following the inspections, DGP Sharma reviewed all reports and directed officers to maintain year-round cleanliness, emphasising that hygiene should become a daily habit.

The campaign was not limited to the Police Headquarters alone. On instructions from PHQ, all police units across Rajasthan actively participated, reinforcing the message of maintaining a clean, healthy and disciplined working environment across the force.

Prisons Department Also Conducts Cleanliness Drive

A similar initiative was carried out in the Prisons Department. Under the directions of DG Prisons Ashok Kumar Rathore, personnel across all jails in Rajasthan undertook voluntary labour to clean offices and premises.

At the Jaipur Prison Headquarters, the campaign was supervised by DIG Monica Agrawal, Superintendent Mahesh Chand Bairwa, and Deputy Superintendent & Nodal Officer Ramakant Sharma. Complete cleaning of rooms, inner and outer courtyards, files and office materials was ensured.
