Rohit Godara Gang Member Arrested in Churu with Illegal Firearm | Udaipur Kiran

Jaipur, 15 December (Udaipur Kiran) — In a major breakthrough under the ongoing crackdown on drug abuse and illegal weapons, Churu district police have arrested a key operative of the notorious Rohit Godara and Mahendra Delana gang. The accused, Pradeep Chhimpá alias PC (21), was caught with an illegal country-made pistol during a police barricade operation.

Bikaner Range IG Hemant Sharma had directed a special campaign to curb organised crime. Acting on these instructions, SP Jay Yadav activated district teams for intensified action. Under the supervision of Additional SP Sunil Kumar and Sardarshahar CO Kuldeep Walia, police teams were deployed across the region.

On Sunday, a team led by SHO Sardarshahar Madan Lal Bishnoi and ASI Pradeep Kumar was conducting a barricade near Bukalsar Fanta. During the operation, a young man attempted to flee on spotting the police. He was quickly stopped and identified as Pradeep Chhimpá of Gajusar, a known gang associate.

On searching him, police recovered an illegal desi katta (country-made firearm), following which he was immediately arrested.

SP Yadav said Pradeep Chhimpá claims to be an active member of the Rohit Godara–Mahendra Delana gang and has been involved in several organised criminal activities. Police suspect he and his associates were planning a major criminal act.

Past Criminal Record

Pradeep Chhimpá has a significant criminal history. He was earlier accused in the Suncity Hotel firing incident in the Churu Kotwali area, an act carried out under instructions from gangsters Rohit Godara and Mahendra Delana. Several other serious criminal cases are already registered against him.
