Ranchi Police Bust Fake Gangrape Case, Five Held | Udaipur Kiran


Ranchi, December 13 (Udaipur Kiran) – Ranchi Police have exposed a fake gangrape case filed in the Chanho police station area. The investigation revealed that the woman who alleged the gangrape had taken money and lodged a false complaint to trap five young men. The police have arrested five accused, including the woman who filed the case.

The entire case was based on extortion and false allegations. After registering the fake gangrape case, the woman and her associates reportedly demanded money from the families of the accused. They threatened to implicate the entire family if the money was not paid.

Among those arrested are the alleged victim and the main conspirators behind the plot. The arrested individuals include Nasiha Khatoon, who filed the false case, Sabir Khan, the chief conspirator, along with Mohammad Naseem, Imtiaz Alam, and Vicky Khan. Police have recovered two iPhones and four other mobile phones from them.

During the investigation, it was found that Nasiha Khatoon had taken Rs 50,000 to file this false gangrape case at Bero police station.

This case was part of a premeditated conspiracy to frame five innocent youths. The police uncovered the fraud through detailed investigation and technical evidence. Following the revelation, prompt action was taken to arrest Nasiha Khatoon, Sabir Khan, and three others. Legal proceedings are now underway against all accused for filing false cases and extortion. Sabir Khan has six previous cases registered against him.
