Smriti Mandhana has resumed national duties after being named in India Women’s 15-member squad for the home T20I series against Sri Lanka. She recently went through a difficult phase after calling off her wedding with music composer Palash Muchhal.

Just a day after announcing the separation, the left-handed Mandhana returned to training. Her brother, Shravan Mandhana, shared a picture of her batting in the nets, fully focused on the game despite the personal setback.
