PM Modi Most Influential Leader in Current Geopolitics: American Singer Mary Millben | Udaipur Kiran

Washington, December 6 – African-American singer and long-time India admirer Mary Millben has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the most influential and important leader in today’s geopolitics. She said that this week’s meeting between Prime Minister Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin in New Delhi has strengthened India’s global position.

In an exclusive interview with Udaipur Kiran, Millben said that the Modi-Putin talks reflect deep partnership and long-standing trust between both countries. According to her, “The meeting between Prime Minister Modi and President Putin was extremely successful. It certainly presents a picture of a very deep alliance between India and Russia, just like the strong relations between America and India.”

Millben praised Prime Minister Modi’s diplomatic style extensively. She said that PM Modi showed excellent balance and strategic wisdom on sensitive matters like energy, defence and economic cooperation.

She also noted that Putin’s priority was to advance oil and defence cooperation, while Modi conducted dialogue keeping India’s interests at the centre on every issue.

Millben stated clearly, “The Prime Minister will do what is best for India’s interests. Every leader does the same for their country.”

In the interview, Millben repeatedly emphasized that Prime Minister Modi’s global reputation is currently at its highest level.

She said, “Prime Minister Modi is currently the most important and most influential leader in the world’s geo-political landscape. This is a fact that cannot be denied. PM Modi has placed India and himself at the centre of global politics.”

Mary Millben, who maintains close relations with American President Donald Trump and his team, strongly criticized the Trump administration’s recent India policy.

She said, “America’s approach regarding trade with India was too aggressive. Many times this approach appeared like applying pressure.”

Millben said, “India is our friend. It is our strongest democratic partner. There can be disagreements in conversations with friends, but without damaging relations.”

According to her, America’s unnecessary aggression caused many major global players to seek alternatives, which also affected India-Russia and India-China diplomacy.

Millben directly suggested that Trump should view this meeting from a new perspective. She said, “My advice is to invite Prime Minister Modi to America. Sit and talk, have dinner, apologize and repair relations.”

She believes such a step would also be beneficial for America, especially if it wants to move forward in Russia-Ukraine peace efforts.

Millben said, “If any leader in the world can mediate in Russia-Ukraine, it is only Prime Minister Modi.”

In the interview, Millben said that leaders worldwide are keeping a close watch on this year’s American elections.

She said, “The world knows what election season is like in America.”

Millben said she has complete faith in both leaders and both understand each other. “I truly believe that Prime Minister Modi and President Trump are friends and have been for a long time. Modi’s recent diplomacy in New Delhi proves his global stature even stronger. His leadership capability has come to the fore completely. I appreciate him.”

The Modi-Putin summit held in New Delhi is being considered a new phase of high-level dialogue between India and Russia. The partnership between both countries extends to defence, energy, space and nuclear sectors.

India has maintained dialogue with both Russia and Ukraine from the beginning, making it among the few select countries in the world that have good relations with both sides.

Mary Millben is today considered an informal cultural ambassador of India-America relations. She has often praised PM Modi’s leadership on global platforms.
