
New Delhi, December 4 (Udaipur Kiran): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Palam Airport with his convoy to receive Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is scheduled to arrive in Delhi shortly. This is President Putin’s first visit to India after the start of the Russia-Ukraine war.
Prime Minister Modi will host a private dinner in honour of President Putin later this evening. The Russian President is expected to stay in India for around 30 hours.
Ahead of President Putin’s arrival, several senior Russian ministers have already reached Delhi. These include Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Agriculture Minister Dmitry Petrov.
