Silver Prices Surge Near Rs 2 Lakh Per Kg in Chennai | Udaipur Kiran


New Delhi, December 2 (Udaipur Kiran) – The domestic bullion market witnessed strong bullish momentum in silver prices today. The shiny metal recorded only a marginal decline of Rs 100 per kilogram today. Due to this surge, silver is trading between Rs 1,87,900 per kilogram to Rs 1,96,100 per kilogram across different bullion markets in the country.

In Delhi, silver prices jumped to Rs 1,88,100 per kilogram today. Similarly, in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata, silver is trading at Rs 1,87,900 per kilogram. Meanwhile, in Jaipur, Surat and Pune, silver is trading at Rs 1,88,200 per kilogram. In Bengaluru, silver is at Rs 1,88,400 per kilogram, while in Patna and Bhubaneswar it is trading at Rs 1,88,000 per kilogram. The highest silver prices in the country are still in Chennai and Hyderabad, where the precious metal reached Rs 1,96,100 per kilogram today.

Bullion market expert Mayank Mohan says that silver is no longer just a metal used for jewellery or religious purposes these days. From mobile phones, computer chips, electronic devices to solar panels, silver has become an essential metal in many latest technologies. Its growing importance in these industries has increased its usage significantly more than before. Increased demand directly impacts prices. This is why silver prices are continuously rising compared to earlier levels.
