Maruti Suzuki is finally set to unveil the pricing of its first electric car, the e Vitara, today. The company will reveal the prices at an event in Gurugram, Haryana at 6 PM. The carmaker has already launched this EV in international markets. This all-electric SUV will mark Maruti Suzuki’s first entry into the Indian electric vehicle space. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Features
The SUV’s interior will be equipped with several premium features including wireless charger, seat ventilation, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, fixed glass sunroof, floating console with electronic gear shifter, and Infinity sound system. The interior features high-quality materials with dual-tone finish. It has a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and four straight AC vents with chrome bezels. The gloss black touches throughout the interior make the e Vitara’s cabin even more premium.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara comes with multiple drive modes including Eco, Normal and Sport. Eco mode provides the maximum range, while Sport mode delivers the best performance. Normal mode balances both aspects. Additionally, there are regen modes and a Snow mode for better grip on slippery surfaces. This means it’s prepared to handle all types of road conditions.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Battery
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara runs on a high-capacity battery made up of 120 lithium-ion cells. Maruti Suzuki claims that these individual cells have been tested for durability and safety to ensure they can handle penetration and various loads. These cells are rated to operate in temperature ranges from -30 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. It will offer two battery pack options of 49kWh and 61kWh. These will provide a range of over 500km on a single charge.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Colours
Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara has been launched with 10 exterior colour options. This includes 6 mono-tone and 4 dual-tone colours. The 6 single-tone colour options include Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black and Opulent Red. The dual-tone colours feature black roof and A-pillar and B-pillar along with contrasting Arctic White, Land Breeze Green, Splendid Silver and Opulent Red colour options.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Safety
Talking about Maruti e-Vitara’s safety features, it includes Level 2 ADAS suite with features like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control among others. Additionally, it comes with 7 airbags, blind spot monitor, tyre pressure monitor, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, rear disc brakes, electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, and Audible Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) for pedestrians.
