Radico Khaitan said the newly launched Rampur 1943 Virasat carries forward the legacy of the historic Rampur Distillery, established in 1943. The single malt is crafted at the foothills of the Himalayas using carefully selected six-row Indian barley, known for its bold, malty flavour. Distillation takes place in newly designed pot stills that introduce modern refinements while maintaining the traditional Rampur character.

Priced between Rs 3,500 and Rs 4,500 per bottle, the whisky will first be available in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi, before a nationwide rollout. The company says Rampur 1943 Virasat honours India’s distilling heritage while presenting a refined new expression for modern consumers.

Radico Khaitan is among India’s oldest and largest producers of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), with a diverse portfolio of established and premium brands.
