New Delhi, 24 November (Udaipur Kiran): Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh on Sunday criticised the Centre over the continuous fall of the Indian rupee against the US dollar. In a post on X, he said the rupee was in a “free fall” and was now nearing the Rs 90 per dollar mark.
Ramesh wrote that the currency’s sharp decline is a matter of concern and raises serious questions about the government’s economic management. He urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pay immediate attention to the issue.
