Shahdol, 24 November (Udaipur Kiran)। Renowned German coach Dietmar Beiersdorff from the prominent football club FC Ingolstadt 4 will visit Vicharpur village in Shahdol district on Monday. Widely known as ‘Mini Brazil’, the village has gained national and international recognition for its outstanding football culture.
During his visit, Beiersdorff will interact with footballers from Vicharpur, including players who recently trained in Germany. He is expected to share guidance, insights and his professional experience with the young athletes.
Vicharpur earned the title ‘Mini Brazil’ after Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned the village’s football team during his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme and other global platforms, bringing nationwide attention to their talent.
Following this recognition, FC Ingolstadt 4 offered a training opportunity for selected players and coaches from Vicharpur between 4 and 12 October 2025. A total of five players and one female coach were chosen for the programme:
