Pakistan on Edge After Delhi Blast; Khawaja Asif Issues Hollow Threats to India, Afghanistan | Udaipur Kiran

New Delhi, 13 November (Udaipur Kiran). Pakistan, a nation long accused of sheltering terror groups, appears increasingly unsettled after the recent Delhi blast and the subsequent explosion inside an Islamabad court complex. The reactions of Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Defence Minister reflect growing nervousness in the country.

Even though Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the Islamabad blast, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif once again targeted India and Afghanistan with threatening remarks.

Commenting on the Delhi blast, Asif said, “Till yesterday, it was just a gas cylinder explosion. Now they are trying to portray it as a foreign conspiracy.” He added that India could accuse Pakistan “any time.”

Issuing a warning, Asif said, “Pakistan is ready to fight a war on two fronts. We are prepared to fight on the eastern and western borders. Allah helped us in round one and will help us in round two as well.”
Pakistan’s eastern border touches India, while its western border is with Afghanistan — both of which Asif referred to while issuing his threat.

However, Pakistan’s anxiety is understandable. After the Pahalgam attack, India’s Prime Minister made it clear that those responsible would not be spared. The Indian Army later executed Operation Sindoor successfully. Even after the Delhi blast, PM Modi, speaking from Bhutan, reiterated that the guilty will not be spared.

This has raised concerns in Pakistan about India’s possible response. The impact of Operation Sindoor still lingers, and any fresh attack traced back to Pakistani soil may invite strong repercussions — something Islamabad is clearly worried about.

On Afghanistan, Asif wrote on social media platform X: “Kabul’s rulers can stop terrorism in Pakistan, but bringing this war to Islamabad is a message from Kabul, and Pakistan has full strength to respond.”
Pakistan continues to accuse Afghanistan of allowing its soil to be used for attacks on Pakistan.

Meanwhile, TTP recently released a video revealing its location to Pakistan’s government. In the video, a TTP member called the Pakistani army and government “cruel,” claiming they are incapable of fighting the Mujahideen. He also predicted the downfall of Pakistan’s military and government.

The TTP members further claimed they are present in Pakistan’s Punjab — a direct challenge to the country’s intelligence agencies.
