Milan, November 5 (Udaipur Kiran): Hero MotoCorp’s electric subsidiary VIDA has officially unveiled its first electric motorcycle — the VIDA VX2 — at the EICMA 2025 show in Milan. The company also showcased a range of futuristic EV concepts and announced that pre-bookings for the VX2 have already begun, with deliveries expected to start soon.

The VIDA VX2 is aimed at the European market and represents Hero’s first step into the global electric motorcycle segment. Alongside the VX2, VIDA also introduced several concept models and prototypes focused on urban mobility and off-road exploration.

One of the highlights was the VIDA Ubex concept, inspired by the word “Urban Exploration.” It’s a city-focused EV that draws design cues from supermoto-style motorcycles, emphasizing rider comfort and versatility.

VIDA also unveiled the VXZ, developed in collaboration with Zero Motorcycles. While details remain under wraps, the model is expected to blend Zero’s advanced EV technology with Hero’s manufacturing expertise.

Another interesting reveal was the Dirt.E K3, an electric dirt bike designed for children aged 4 to 10 years. Based on the earlier Acro concept, it features an adjustable wheelbase and rider triangle, and is expected to launch in India soon. Additionally, VIDA presented the Dirt.E MX7, a full-sized dirt bike built on a lightweight carbon-fiber frame.

Beyond two-wheelers, Hero introduced futuristic mobility ideas under the VIDA Novus sub-brand. These included:

• Nex 1, a smart backpack that transforms into a compact electric scooter,

• Nex 2, a three-wheeled electric scooter combining trike-like stability with urban agility, and

• Nex 3, a compact electric city car, signaling Hero’s intent to expand beyond traditional two-wheelers.

With the launch of the VIDA VX2 and its innovative EV lineup, Hero MotoCorp has made a bold statement about its electric future and growing global ambitions.
