Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder has been forecast for these areas and their adjoining regions.

In Balera (Barmer) and Busi village in Somesar town (Pali district), heavy rainfall lasted for nearly an hour at night, leading to waterlogging on roads.

The Jaipur Meteorological Centre said that this weather system will remain active till November 4, after which conditions will start to clear from November 5. Skies are expected to open up, leading to a further drop in minimum temperatures and an increase in morning and evening chill.

Weather experts have noted that the effect of the western disturbance marks the beginning of the winter season in Rajasthan. In the coming days, temperatures are likely to fall further, intensifying the cold across the state.
