Udaipur, November 1 (Udaipur Kiran) — The Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) on Friday sealed a three-storey hotel constructed illegally on agricultural land in Sisarma village. The building, which included a basement, ground floor and two upper floors, was found to have been built without land-use conversion or official approval.
UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain said the action was taken on revenue plot numbers 4299, 4300, 4301 and 4760 in Sisarma, where commercial construction had been carried out on agricultural land without the necessary permissions.
He added that the authority had earlier issued a notice to the builder under Section 32, seeking clarification and approval documents. However, the builder failed to provide any proof of sanctioned plans or land-use conversion.
