The much-awaited project, officially announced in 2024, has now welcomed a new face — actress Sonal Chauhan.
The Jannat fame actress confirmed the news herself on social media, writing, “Om Namah Shivay. I can’t believe I’m part of such an incredible and transformative journey. It’s an honour to join ‘Mirzapur: The Film’. I’m truly excited for the audience to see what we’ve created for the big screen.” Her post quickly went viral, sparking curiosity among fans about her mysterious new character.
The film will bring back fan-favourite characters — Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), and Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu Sharma) — in a gripping continuation of the story of power, revenge, and betrayal. Joining them will be Shweta Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and several new faces in key roles.
According to reports, ‘Mirzapur: The Film’ will pick up where Season 3 left off, but this time with a much grander scale, more intense action, and high-voltage drama — promising an experience bigger than the web series itself. While the official release date hasn’t been announced yet, the film is expected to hit theatres in 2026.
