Udaipur Photographer Dinesh Kothari Achieves Three International Honors in Photography | Udaipur Kiran

Udaipur, October 25 (Udaipur Kiran): Renowned Udaipur-based art enthusiast and retired RAS officer Dinesh Kothari has achieved three major international recognitions in the field of photography, marking a proud moment for the city and the state.

Kothari’s photograph of a young tribal girl selling mineral water bottles along a highway has been selected for the prestigious JRNWY World Photography Award 2025 in London. He has also been invited to attend the award ceremony in London to receive the honor in person.

Adding to his accolades, one of his captivating photographs has been featured in the “Beyond 2025 Yearbook” published by the Sterling Photo Festival, Scotland. The image, depicting a tribal woman walking along a winding road in a rural landscape, beautifully captures the simplicity and depth of tribal life.

In another proud achievement, Kothari won the Gold Award at the International Photo Competition organized by Manikarnika Gallery during Diwali celebrations. The award-winning photo titled “Mother and Daughter” portrays a woman combing her daughter’s hair outside a thatched hut — a poignant visual that reflects the cultural essence and emotional warmth of tribal Rajasthan.

Speaking about his work, Kothari said that his photographs aim to depict the strength, simplicity, and beauty of tribal life in its natural surroundings. His artistry continues to bring international recognition to Indian visual storytelling.
