New Infinix Smartphone with Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Spotted on Geekbench | Udaipur Kiran

New Delhi, October 25 (Udaipur Kiran) — After relying heavily on MediaTek processors for years, Infinix appears ready to expand its Snapdragon-powered lineup. A mysterious new Infinix device, bearing the model number X6878, has surfaced on Geekbench, revealing key hardware details — including a brand-new Qualcomm chip.

Earlier this year, Infinix launched the Infinix Xpad GT, powered by the Snapdragon 888 for global markets. Now, the upcoming X6878 may mark the company’s shift to a more modern Snapdragon platform.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Power and Geekbench Scores

According to the Geekbench 6.5 listing, the device features a Qualcomm processor with a prime core at 2.71GHz, three performance cores at 2.40GHz, and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.80GHz, coupled with the Adreno 810 GPU.
Though the listing doesn’t explicitly name the chipset, its configuration closely matches the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, launched in August 2025.

In performance testing, the phone scored 1,232 points in Geekbench’s single-core benchmark and 2,882 points in the multi-core test — similar to the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, the only device so far confirmed to use the same chip.

Key Details and Expected Launch

The Infinix X6878 listing also confirms 8GB of RAM and Android 16 out of the box. Before appearing on Geekbench, the device was spotted in the EEC certification database in Europe, hinting at an imminent global launch.

While its official name remains unconfirmed, early reports suggest it could debut as part of the Infinix Zero 50 or Infinix Note Edge series. The smartphone is likely to launch in November, though details about its regional availability are still unclear.

If true, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4-powered Infinix X6878 would mark a major step for the brand, signaling its growing ambitions in the mid-premium smartphone segment traditionally dominated by Xiaomi and Realme.
