According to multiple Weibo tipsters, the smartphone is expected to debut on October 29, positioning it as Huawei’s sleekest phone to date.
Tech blogger Fixed Focus Digital revealed that the Mate 70 Air will feature a remarkably slim body measuring just 6.x mm in thickness. Another reliable source, Panda is very bald, backed this launch date and added that Huawei will unveil the device officially on Tuesday.

Unlike Apple’s eSIM-only iPhone Air, Huawei is opting for a traditional dual physical SIM setup. Sources suggest that Huawei’s decision aligns with user demand in China, where eSIM adoption remains extremely low.
