Beijing, October 25 (Udaipur Kiran) — Amazfit has introduced a new 44mm variant of its rugged T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch in China, giving users a more compact and lightweight alternative to the existing 48mm model. The new version retains the T-Rex series’ signature toughness and comes in Arctic Gold and Black Gold color options.

While the smartwatch has launched exclusively in China for now, a global release is expected soon.

Compact Design, Rugged Build

The new T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm measures 44.8 × 44.8 × 13.2 mm and weighs just 46.8 g (without strap). Despite its smaller frame, it maintains a premium construction with a fiber-reinforced plastic case, Grade 5 titanium bezel, and four physical buttons. It also includes a microphone, speaker, and linear motor, and is water-resistant up to 10 ATM.

The smartwatch features a 1.32-inch AMOLED touchscreen with sapphire crystal protection. It offers a 466 × 466-pixel resolution, 353 ppi, and an impressive 3,000-nit peak brightness. Though slightly smaller than the 1.5-inch display on the 48mm model, it delivers the same visual clarity and quality.

Connectivity and Smart Features

The T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm supports Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2 BLE. It enables Bluetooth calling, Zepp Flow voice assistant (available in select regions), offline music storage, and smart notifications. The watch pairs via the Zepp app and is compatible with Android 7.0+ and iOS 15.0+.

Fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of 187 sports modes, including auto-recognition for 25 strength exercises and 8 sport movements. It also offers professional running features such as Track Run mode, Virtual Pacemaker, and trajectory correction, with data syncing support for Strava, Runkeeper, Adidas Running, TrainingPeaks, Apple Health, and Google Fit.

Advanced Health and GPS Tracking

Health tracking features include heart rate, SpO₂, stress, skin temperature, and detailed sleep analysis with REM and nap tracking. The smartwatch uses the BioTracker 6.0 PPG sensor, alongside accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic, barometric, ambient light, and temperature sensors. It supports six satellite positioning systems via a circularly polarized GPS antenna for greater accuracy.

Long Battery Life and Price

The T-Rex 3 Pro 44mm packs a 500 mAh battery that delivers:

• Up to 17 days of typical use,

• 8 days of heavy use, and

• Up to 86 hours in maximum GPS battery mode.

The smartwatch is currently listed on JD.com for ¥2,305 (approx. $315).
