Two Criminals Die in Accident While Fleeing After Kidnapping History-Sheeter in Jhunjhunu Rajasthan | Udaipur Kiran

Jhunjhunu, October 20 (Udaipur Kiran): A dramatic late-night incident in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district ended fatally after two criminals were killed in a road accident while fleeing with a kidnapped history-sheeter. The crash occurred near Ajitgarh village on Sunday night when the accused’s vehicle rammed into a trolley.

According to police, the incident began around 10:30 p.m. when Dennis alias Naresh Bavariya, a known history-sheeter from Jeet Ki Dhani, was sitting in his Scorpio near a liquor shop on the Churu bypass. Suddenly, around six armed men arrived in two camper vehicles and surrounded him. One camper rammed into Dennis’s Scorpio, and as locals rushed to the spot after hearing the loud crash, the assailants threatened them with rods and weapons, forcing them to back off.

The attackers then dragged Dennis out of his vehicle and forced him into their camper before speeding away. In their rush, the kidnappers also smashed Dennis’s Scorpio and hit a roadside cart, causing panic in the area.

Upon receiving the alert, Kotwali Police quickly reached the scene, and ASP Devendra Rajawat led a coordinated operation. Multiple teams launched overnight searches, setting up roadblocks to trace the culprits.

The police chase led to a breakthrough near Rasoda village, where the kidnappers threw Dennis out of their vehicle and tried to escape. Moments later, their speeding camper collided with a trolley near Ajitgarh, killing Babulal (Mukundgarh) and Vinod Meena — both identified as history-sheeters. Three others were injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Mandawa Government Hospital.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the attack and abduction were part of an ongoing gang rivalry between Dennis Bavariya and notorious gangster Deepak Malsaria. The two groups have been feuding for years over territorial dominance in the region.

According to Superintendent of Police Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay, the incident appears to be a result of old enmity. Security across the city has been intensified, with additional checkpoints and patrols deployed to prevent further violence.

Dennis Bavariya, considered one of Jhunjhunu’s most feared criminals, has over 12 cases registered against him, including charges of assault, extortion, loot, and possession of illegal weapons. Police said he has survived multiple attacks in the past linked to this same gang feud.
