
Udaipur, October 17 (Udaipur Kiran): Ahead of the Dhanteras festival, Udaipur Police have announced special traffic arrangements to ensure smooth movement in the city on October 18, 2025, when heavy footfall is expected at temples and marketplaces.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Umesh Ojha, traffic restrictions will be in effect from 4:00 AM till late night on Saturday, particularly around Bhattiyani Chauhatta, where the Mahalakshmi Temple will host Mahalakshmi Darshan and Annakoot Mahotsav.
Due to the large number of devotees expected to visit the area, entry of all vehicles will be prohibited on the following routes from 4:00 AM to late night on October 18:

Bhattiyani Chauhatta and surrounding temple area.
Additionally, from 4:00 PM till late night, the entry of four-wheelers will be prohibited on the following roads due to Dhanteras shopping rush:

The ASP clarified that ambulances, fire brigade vehicles, and other emergency services will be exempt from these restrictions.
Citizens have been requested to cooperate with traffic police to maintain order and ensure a safe and smooth flow of traffic during the festival.
