
Gandhinagar, October 17 (Udaipur Kiran): Following the swearing-in of the new Gujarat cabinet, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel chaired the first meeting of his newly formed council of ministers at Swarnim Sankul-1 on Friday, which lasted for over an hour. During the meeting, portfolios were formally allocated to cabinet and state ministers.
Harsh Ramesh Kumar Sanghavi has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister and entrusted with several key portfolios, including Home and Police Housing, Jail, Civil Defence, Home Guards, Border Security, Prohibition and Excise, Transport, Law and Justice, Sports, Youth Services and Cultural Activities, Coordination of Voluntary Organisations, Industry, MSME, Salt Industry, Printing and Stationery, Tourism and Pilgrimage Development, and Civil Aviation.
