
Udaipur, October 14 (Udaipur Kiran): The Faculty of Management at Pacific University, Udaipur, recently hosted a grand freshers’ party to welcome the new batch of MBA first-year students with enthusiasm and cultural spirit.
The celebration began with a lamp-lighting ceremony by Professor Dipin Mathur, Dean, Faculty of Management, along with senior faculty members. Senior students greeted the newcomers with a traditional tilak ceremony, marking the start of their academic journey.
In his address, Prof. Mathur encouraged students to focus on developing communication skills, decision-making abilities, and multitasking competence to succeed in today’s competitive business world.
Three Days of Festivities and Talent
Over 150 senior and junior students participated in the three-day celebration filled with music, dance, and interactive competitions.
The first day featured a Treasure Hunt, where Khadeeja Kagzi, Vasu Sharma, Naveen Joshi, Ayush Rathore, and Mohammad Shafin Khan from Business Analytics emerged as winners. On the second day, the “BollyTelly” competition saw Mohit Joshi and Almas Bano take top honors.
The final day’s highlight was the Mr. and Miss Fresher contest, where Keshav Jhanwar was crowned Mr. Fresher, and Ritika Kanwar won the title of Miss Fresher.
The event was judged by a distinguished panel including Dr. Pushpkant Shakdwipi, Dr. Pallavi Mehta, Dr. Narendra Singh Chawda, Dr. Khushbu Agrawal, Dr. Jaya Sharma, Dr. Ashish Adyolia, Dr. Gaurav Joshi, Ayushi Mali, and Dr. Maroof Fatima Sadriwala.
The entire celebration was coordinated by Dr. Ali Yawar Reha, ensuring that the event was both vibrant and well-organized.
