
Patna, October 3 (Udaipur Kiran News): The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Patna Centre, has issued an immediate weather warning for several districts of Bihar, forecasting light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning over the next two to three hours.
According to the yellow alert, Patna, Bhojpur, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Arwal, Jehanabad, and Gaya districts are likely to experience rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds blowing at 30–40 km/h.
The IMD has urged residents to stay indoors during adverse weather and avoid standing near electric poles, trees, or open spaces. Farmers and people working in fields have been advised to move to safe locations immediately. Motorists are also cautioned to drive carefully as visibility may be reduced.
Officials have emphasized that this alert is valid for the next 2–3 hours, and citizens should remain vigilant and cautious. The department is continuously monitoring the situation and providing regular updates through its official website, Facebook, and Twitter handles.
