Bhopal, October 2 (Udaipur Kiran News): The rainy spell is set to continue in several parts of Madhya Pradesh, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing a heavy rainfall alert for October 3 and 4. The impact will be more pronounced across the Indore, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Rewa, and Shahdol divisions. Even on Thursday, which marks Dussehra, many districts may witness light to moderate rain.
Weather Systems Active
According to the IMD, a low-pressure area is currently active over the western region of the state, along with a trough line and an approaching Western Disturbance that will influence weather conditions on October 3 and 4. This combination is expected to trigger heavy showers in multiple districts of Indore, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Rewa, and Shahdol divisions.

So far, the monsoon has withdrawn from 12 districts, including Gwalior, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Agar-Malwa, Neemuch, Mandsaur, and Ratlam. It has also partially withdrawn from parts of Rajgarh and Ashoknagar. The monsoon, which entered Madhya Pradesh on June 16, usually withdraws from the entire state by October 6, but due to new weather systems, the withdrawal date may extend further.
