Jaipur, September 28 (Udaipur Kiran News): A change in weather was observed across several parts of Rajasthan on Saturday, with light rainfall recorded in Jaipur, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, and a few other cities. The shift comes due to a strong weather system formed over the Bay of Bengal.
According to the Meteorological Centre Jaipur, Jaisalmer recorded the highest day temperature at 39.8°C, while Bikaner saw the warmest night at 27.5°C.
Director Radheyshyam Sharma informed that the low-pressure area over West Vidarbha has now weakened into a well-marked low-pressure zone. It is expected to move westward over the next 2-3 days, passing through South Gujarat and Saurashtra, and may emerge as a low-pressure region over the northeast Arabian Sea near the Gujarat coast by October 1.
Under its influence, eastern and southern parts of Rajasthan are likely to witness rain with thunder over the next 4-5 days, with moderate to heavy rainfall expected at isolated places in the southern regions. By October 3, rainfall activity is forecast in parts of Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, and Jodhpur divisions, with Udaipur likely to receive heavy showers in some areas.
