India Opts to Bowl First After Winning Toss in Asia Cup 2025 Final Against Pakistan | Udaipur Kiran


New Delhi, September 28 (Udaipur Kiran News): Team India won the toss and chose to bowl first in the Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan, being played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Pakistan will bat first.

After winning the toss, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav said the pitch looked good and tends to improve further under lights. “We’ve been batting well first, but today we’d like to chase,” he said. Suryakumar also confirmed that Hardik Pandya is out due to injury, and Rinku Singh has been included in the playing XI.

In a major boost, Jasprit Bumrah and Shivam Dube have returned to the side. Pakistan, on the other hand, has made no changes to its lineup.

India: Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav (Captain), Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson (Wicketkeeper), Shivam Dube, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy.

Pakistan: Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Salman Agha (Captain), Hussain Talat, Mohammad Haris (Wicketkeeper), Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed.

Notably, India has already defeated Pakistan twice in this tournament. The team will now aim for a third consecutive win over their arch-rivals to lift the Asia Cup 2025 trophy.
